I’ll be sharing my personal experience coping with ADHD, as well as raising awareness and educating others about this neurodevelopmental disorder.

I was diagnosed with ADHD when I was just 7 years old. At such a young age, I didn’t really understand what that meant, but I quickly realized that I struggled more than most kids in school. My attention span was short, and I was easily distracted.

My parents tried behavioral therapy, which helped a little bit, but it wasn’t until I started taking medication at the age of 12 that things really turned around for me. Before that, I was pretty much against everything that parents and teachers told me to do. But since I started taking meds, I’ve been able to get my schoolwork in order and pursue a career in IT.

I know that medication isn’t the right solution for everyone, but it made a huge difference for me. I no longer felt like I was constantly fighting against my own brain. Instead, I was able to focus on my work and pursue my interests.

I hope that by sharing my stories, I can help others who are struggling with ADHD. It’s not an easy disorder to live with, but with the right support and resources, it’s possible to succeed.

This blog is dedicated to sharing my personal experience coping with ADHD, as well as raising awareness and educating others about this neurodevelopmental disorder.
